“When Steve presented his idea of this song to me I loved the concept, a song that observes a run down community on a bruised and battered old street, I thought it was a great idea from a conspiratorial perspective. Within a day or so of working on the lyrics, chords and melody together, we knew we had something gritty and truthful and it sounded great with both of our voices.”
The bonus rehearsal footage included in this download shows how well CMG and Steve work together to reach the final live performance that has flavours of Oasis and Led Zeppelin with a gritty vocal from Steve and even a rap break from CMG!
